Students & Guardians

The Construction Skills Youth Program is designed to mirror the industry through the implementation of a nationally developed curriculum approved by the Building Trades National Apprenticeship and Training Committee.

Classroom training runs once a week over 10 weeks during the Spring semester of senior year. Constructions Skills coordinates schedules with each school to ensure students are able to arrive at training on time.

Students attend their regular morning classes and are dismissed at half day to attend Construction Skills’ classroom training from 1:30 PM - 5 PM.

Hands-on training runs for 3 weeks full-time from 7 AM - 2 PM in the summer after graduation.
